I’m not completely innocent like I wish to be.

I do things that sixteen year old girls do.

I lust like sixteen year old girls lust.

But, most sixteen year olds girls won’t admitt that they sometimes wish they were uncorrupt.

And this is the generation of fast-growing, isn’t it? I remember when my older sister was shocked that her friend who was seventeen had willingly lost her virginity. Now, I am shocked when I meet someone who is that age and is still a virgin.

I’m not saying that sex is bad. Sometimes, girls and boys find themselves in situations where they can’t get out. Not necessarily rape, but pressure, for lack or a better, not-old-school term. And sometimes, we feel that it is the right time, and often when we are young, we are mistaken in that decision.

And sometimes, its perfect. We lose our innocence without feeling ashamed. I think that it is right when you can have sex with someone, and hold eachother afterwards, feeling unburdened and safe. Like you’re in the arms of childhood itself. For the last time. But its okay.

That’s what I’m waiting for.
